Salvador D. Aceves, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,
In May 2014, Salvador D. Aceves, Ed.D., was appointed vice president and chief financial officer as well as professor of accounting at Regis University. Prior to this appointment, he served as associate vice president for academic financial planning and analysis in the Office of the Provost at Fordham University for three years. His primary responsibility at Fordham was the development of the academic financial plan encompassing operational, restricted, grant and capital funds. He also was an associate professor of accounting in the School of Business.
Formerly, Aceves spent six years as vice provost at the University of San Francisco (USF) serving as the university’s chief planning and budget officer. He also held a faculty position as associate professor of accounting, teaching in both the School of Business and Management and the School of Law, and was the recipient of five teaching awards. At USF, his office was the 2008 recipient of the Richard Goodman Strategic Planning Award.
Aceves earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a doctoral degree in education with a focus on global business from USF. He also holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Mr. Aceves participated in a special edition of Issues in Education, from the SCUP-52 International Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
