Roger Kurtz, (retied) Executive Director, MASA

Roger Kurtz has spent the past 29 years of his life in the field of public education. He is the retired Executive Director of the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA).  MASA is the only statewide association in Missouri that exists for the purpose of serving the needs of school superintendents and central office administrators.  MASA is a strong advocate for public education.  The organization provides professional development programs for administrators, annual conferences, school finance assistance, communications and works closely with other educational organizations to improve public education.

Roger participated in first edition of Issues in Education, where topics ranged from the State-of-the-State of Education, Making a difference for students, How do we compare nationally, Examples of what’s working well and Challenges and Potential Solutions.  He also participated in the special editions of Issues in Education which aired live from the MASA Conference.
