Paul Fennewald, Senior Policy Advisor, Missouri Center for Education Safety, MSBA

Paul H. Fennewald assumed the position of Special Advisor to the Center for Education Safety (CES) in February, 2012, and served as the Director of the Center. The CES is a joint Missouri School Boards’ Association – Missouri Department of Public Safety initiative, focused on promoting school safety for all Missouri children. 

Paul previously served as Missouri’s Homeland Security Coordinator, running Missouri’s homeland security program, and prior to that, spent 23 years as a Special Agent in the FBI. During his FBI career, he worked both investigations and functioned as a Bomb Technician. He also spent 2 years in the U.S. Army as an explosive ordinance disposal specialist.

Paul has participated and contributed in several editions of Issues in Education, where a wide variety of topics were discussed, he also was a panelist at the School Safety & Security Symposium.  Please click the videos to hear what he had to say.
