Jeff has been in the field of education for 25 years as: Special education teacher in: Champaign School District, Alton School District, and Springfield School District. 


He was an Administrator in the Springfield School District at Jefferson Middle School, Division Administrator of Educational Programs at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Adjunct Professor for the Educational Leadership Program at University of Illinois-Springfield.


Has been at the Sangamon-Menard Regional Office of Education for 13 years:


As a grant coordinator, assistant regional superintendent, and was elected in November 2010 as the Regional Superintendent of Schools for Sangamon and Menard Counties. He was elected to a two year term as president of Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS) from 2015 to 2017.


He is currently a member of the Illinois Terrorism Task Force and past Chairman of the Illinois School Security and Standards Task Force.
